AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting - Oversee and manage the day-to-day general accounting functions for the Group - Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts (Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement) for the Group and drive timely and accurate month end closing and reporting process - Develop annual budget and financial forecast - Liase with internal/external auditors, tax consultants and corporate secretary in regards to compliance / annual tax & audit submission - Provide analytical review of the Group’s monthly financial performance including other business and segmental performance to support management’s decision making - Manage borrowing and funding requirement of the Group - Lead the evaluation of proposed business activities and transactions such as acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or sale of assets - Train, coach and motivate direct report staff so as to maximize their potential contribution to the organization - Establish financial policies & procedures that mitigate financial risks to the organization Others - Coordinate and prepare regular / ad-hoc requirements on financial and non-financial reporting to the Executive Committee of the Board (“EXCO”) and Board of Directors (“BOD”) - Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent, with a professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA/CIMA) - At least 8 years of working experience in a similar field, with 2 years of experience in a leadership role (Experience in audit and/or taxation would have added advantage) - Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc
