**ELV TECHNICIAN (AV)**

We are an organization that provides Healthcare Facilicities Management Services to a Hospital located at Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras, KL.

We are currently looking for a ELV Technician specializing in Audio Visual maintenance works to assist us in our organization.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist the routine weekly monitoring visit from the appointed visiting engineer for all ELV equipment & systems.
- Conduct trouble shooting activities on the electrical control board together with mechanical team to identify faulty AV and ELV equipment & systems, for example nurse calls, digital call, PA system, CCTV, card access systems etc.
- Coordinate and conduct internal installation of new AV and ELV system expansion work as per approved single line and design by dept.
- Monitoring all calibration of AV and ELV equipment and sensors as per recommended / required by Suruhajaya Tenaga (ST).
- Check and repair existing AV and ELV system, cabling and circuits for any incoming complaints internally or from end users.
- Work with Engineer in-charge and others chargeman for arrangement of shift works and OT work when required by the dept.
- Coordinate and conduct the Plan Preventive Maintenance (PPM) in ELV equipment and systems.
- Monitor and respond to the warning alert report from EMS system, security card access, CCTV system and BMS system.
- Provide feedback and advise to Dept. Manager when proposing an efficient, fair and economic safe design for any expansion work of the ELV system.
- Check, monitor and verify work done by AV and ELV contractors for the completion of day-to-day breakdown request.
- Record keeping for all required log sheet - daily, weekly, monthly checklist of ELV systems in HPKK building as per asset registration.

**QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Diploma in Electrical or Electronic or PW4/PW2 Certification by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experiences as AV Technician in Facilities Management or Building Maintenance. Advantage for those that has prior experience in Hospital Support Services

**SKILLS & COMPETENCIES**
- Customer-service oriented, a team player, also able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Pleasant personality, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, disciplined and have supervisory and leadership qualities
- Excellent time management, planning and organizing skills
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-changing environment
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and good in English
- Able to work on shifts, Public Holidays and Weekends
