A Cleaner is responsible for keeping offices or other public areas neat and organized. Also responsible for performing routine inspections to check that spaces like restrooms or other public areas are always sanitary. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around office buildings. 2. Cleans floors and rooms including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows. 3. Cleans restrooms including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals. 4. Vacuums, empties trash, and replaces liners. 5. Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies. 6. Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas. 7. Transports dirty linens to correct area to be cleaned and restocks areas with clean linens. 8. Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. 9. Performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications and Skills 1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 2. Previous cleaning experience is a plus. 3. Time management, excellent communication and organizational skills. 4. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. 5. Highly responsible & reliable, strictly follow health and safety standards. 6. Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and work cohesively as part of a team.
