Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily operation to monitor both server and database logging to support business operation.
- Design, install, configure, and maintain database systems, including monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting issues.
- Ensure data security and integrity, including implementation of access controls, backups, and recovery plans.
- Execute disaster recovery plans and always-on HA setup to ensure database availability during system outages or dysfunction.
- Ensure all systems are running efficiently and effectively, with mínimal downtime.
- Collaborate with infrastructure team to assist with the setup of networking, server configuration, and security remediation.
- Research, evaluate and recommend new database and server operation technologies.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for data elements and tables in the company.

Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PowerShell script and server management
- 5+ years of experience in database administration.
- Strong Understanding of Microsoft Azure and Windows
- Experience in database backup, disaster recovery planning, performance optimization and data security.
- Knowledge in database management systems, i.e. MS SQL database and SQL tuning.
- Proficiency in PC knowledge (Microsoft Office 365)
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Able to collaborate effectively and work autonomously when needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
