**Requirements**:

- Minimum graduate of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B).
- Qualified and called as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya is an advantage.
- Post-qualified experience (PQE) of at least 2 years, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, authorities and external parties.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision, under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in dealing with external service providers, contractors/sub-contractors, vendors etc. is an added advantage.
- Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in drafting documents in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Chinese.
- Knowledge in ISO Quality Management System will be an added advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle all legal aspects of Company matters/activities, explain to the Management (and relevant departments) complex legal matters, provide legal advice, and keep up to date with changing legislation.
- Analyze, research and summary legal information.
- Prepare/handle legal documents (and related commercial documents), which include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating on documents such as letters, project/contract documents, LOI, LOA, NDAs, MOU, JV agreements, leases, licenses, etc
- Handle the legal aspects of internal and external disputes especially those involving governments and subcontractors.
- Provide guidance and assistance the Management, including training and coaching to various departments, to ensure all Company activities are conducted in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Support Management members in meeting corporate legal and regulatory obligations, in compliance review and monitoring of corporate policies, standards, procedures, etc.
- Coordinate on the legal aspect of internal audits.
- Ensure the integrity of corporate structure, entities, and records, and provide support to the persons-in-charge.
- Draft and implement specific procedures, guidelines, and templates, and to maintain and update contents on the company database, to ensure integrity and legal compliance.
- Manage and supervise outside counsels engaged by the Company in dealing with legal cases such as litigation, developing and advising strategies and resolution.
- Manage and control all legal related costs, such as legal fees and expenditures, cost impacts due to legal compliance and other legal functions.
- Participate in the implementation of Quality Management System
- Undertake other tasks as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
