Child Caretaker

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Nurse to join our team and provide professional care for young children during their crucial early years.

**About the role**:
A child caretaker must be highly trustworthy and attentive to children’s needs and also bathe them and take care of their hygiene needs. Responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children to preteens. Duties include coming up with creative and educational activities, preparing and serving snacks to children and maintaining a clean environment for the children.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with developmental milestones.
- Provide full care for a newborn baby including feeding, diaper changing, bathing, soothing to sleep, and interactive play.
- Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the main area such as baby’s bedroom, bathroom and the playground.
- Create a safe, hygienic & nurturing classroom environment, adhering to **JKM** and **KPWKM** regulations.
- Wash and sanitize baby's clothes and daily items every day.
- Guide the baby develop healthy routines & daily habits.
- To ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met.
- Administer basic medical care and first aid in case of emergencies.
- Communicate well with parents and follow the family’s childcare plan.
- Observe and record children's health, growth and developmental milestones, communicating clearly & effectively with parents.
- Support developmental activities and emotional care in a structured routine from day-to-day needs.
- Effectively accomplish other necessary and required childcare.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate in **Kursus Asuhan PERMATA (KAP)** will be an added advantage.
- Registered with the **Malaysian Nursing Board**would be an added advantage.
- At least 2 year(s) of professional experience in infant care and/or Confinement Centre.
- Preferably experience in Childcare or Pediatric Care.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin will be added bonus for effective communications including with Medical Professionals.
- Ability to care for Children Aged 18 Months to 6 Years Old.
- Well-versed in modern infant care practices and skills.
- Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills to engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Passion for Caring & Nurturing Young Children.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
