**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**

As an Accountant, you will oversee the financial operations of multiple business entities. Your responsibilities include:

- Preparing full sets of accounts, monthly management reports, financial statements, and reconciliations accurately and on time.
- Assisting in budget preparation, forecasting, cash flow planning, and treasury matters across business units.
- Ensuring timely submission of tax returns in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Handling operational accounting issues, discrepancies, and abnormal transactions.
- Liaising with auditors, authorities, and bankers on finance-related matters.
- Implementing and improving internal controls, including inventory management, and enhancing financial reporting processes.
- Maintaining proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Possess strong financial analysis and presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Supporting other assignments or ad-hoc tasks as required by management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in **Finance, Accounting** or equivalent.
- Professional certifications such as ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/Chartered Accountant, or equivalent are preferred.
- At least 5-7 years’ relevant working experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuching (Kuching, Kuching): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 7 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
- Bahasa Malaysia (required)
