As the HR Manager for a hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the hospital's human resources operations run smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, and compliance with relevant regulations. Your role will be crucial in supporting the hospital's mission of providing high-quality healthcare services while fostering a positive and productive work environment for all staff members.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain talented healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, allied health staff, and administrative personnel.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and plan recruitment efforts accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and healthcare industry standards in the recruitment process.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hospital management and staff on employee relations matters.
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner, promoting fair and equitable resolutions.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations and recommend appropriate actions.
- Foster a positive work culture that emphasizes open communication, respect, and collaboration among all staff members.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of hospital staff.
- Identify training needs based on performance evaluations, feedback, and evolving industry trends.
- Coordinate with department heads to facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities for staff members.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make adjustments as necessary.
- Establish performance management systems to evaluate employee performance and provide regular feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Work with department heads to set performance goals and objectives for staff members.
- Provide guidance and support to managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.
- Stay updated on relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation to support compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to address legal issues and mitigate potential risks.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations applicable to the healthcare industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to promoting a positive work culture
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
