This position is primarily concerned with the operation and maintenance of electrical systems and assets at Avisena Specialist Hospital. Under moderate supervision, repair, calibrate, maintain and operate electrical supply systems and ensure compliance to statutory requirements.

This position reports directly to the HOD EFMD ASH

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. The job’s primary responsibility is to meet or excel KPI deliverables and the successful execution of engineering and facility maintenance services.

2. To plan, manage, develop, implement, lead and execute the overall electrical supply systems maintenance within the building to ensure a conducive working environment.

3. To ensure that all attended work requests / complaints are logged in CMMS System.

4. To plan and monitor maintenance works by providing systematic inspection, detection and prevention of incipient failure (inclusive of Planned Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance).

5. Assist with and evaluate third party repairs and services.

6. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical supply systems.

7. Diagnose, repair, install, maintain calibrate and inspect electrical supply systems and systems adhere to all statutory requirements.

8. Participates in department orientation and on-the-job training for new employees.

9. To take reasonable care at workplace for the safety of oneself, others and to comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety, health and environment as required. Report all accidents / incidents and hazards to the superior and complete the Incident Report Form for each accident / incident.

10. To perform other related duties as assigned by superior (Head of Department, Engineering & Facility Maintenance, Technical Executives.

11. Perform on-call maintenance after office hours.

12. Work, operate or have control over any work or operation of an electrical installation.

13. Issuing written instructions (permit to work) to people working under his control.

14. Visit, inspect and record and report the results of the visit and inspection of the electrical installation to the owner of the installation and ST.

15. Prepare and submit electrical installation plans, drawings and specifications.

16. Perform testing and calibration work on relays and electrical installation protective devices.

17. Carrying out wiring work or electrical installation testing.

18. Perform splicing, connection or termination of electrical cables.

Pay: From RM6,500.00 per month
