Site Agent

Menyelia ahli pasukan projek untuk mencapai sasaran prestasi kewangan dan operasi lain
- Memantau dan mengawal prestasi projek terhadap bajet, jadual, keselamatan dan kualiti
- Menyediakan dan mengemukakan permohonan permit yang berkaitan untuk memulakan kerja
- Sediakan program kerja, pernyataan kaedah, penyerahan bahan, laporan kemajuan
- Memantau dan mengurus prestasi dan kemajuan subkontraktor/pembekal
- Menyelaras dan menyerahkan borang pemeriksaan kerja dan tindakan susulan, jika ada
- Membantu dalam menyesaikan konflik tapak dan untuk mencadangkan penyelesaian kolektif
- Menilai dan mengurus sebut harga dan permohonan pembayaran subkontraktor/pembekal
- Merekod dan melaporkan pertikaian kontrak dan perintah variasi
- Berhubung dengan pelanggan, subkontraktor dan pihak lain yang berkaitan untuk memastikan kelancaran projek
- Menghadiri mesyuarat tetap (cth. kemajuan, berkaitan kos, keselamatan dan kualiti dsb) dengan pelanggan, perunding dan pihak berkuasa kerajaan (cth. RMO, Jabatan Lebuhraya) semasa tempoh kontrak
- Membantu dalam Audit Jaminan Kualiti secara dalaman dan luaran (iaitu Audit Kualiti Dalaman, ISO 9001 dll)

To manage health and safety on site. Site agents are responsible for ensuring that the contractor is complying with all relevant health and safety regulations. They also conduct regular safety inspections on site and develop and implement safety procedures.

To manage disputes. Site agents play an important role in managing any disputes that may arise between the client and the contractor. They work to resolve disputes amicably, but they are also prepared to take legal action if necessary.

Criteria for appointing a site agent

When appointing a site agent, it is important to consider the following criteria:
Experience and qualifications. The site agent should have experience of working on similar projects and should hold the relevant qualifications.

Knowledge of the construction industry. The site agent should have a good understanding of the construction process and of the relevant regulations.

Communication and interpersonal skills. The site agent should be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including the client, the contractor, and subcontractors.

Problem-solving skills. The site agent should be able to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Ability to work under pressure. Site agents often have to work long hours and deal with tight deadlines. They need to be able to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.

It is also important to appoint a site agent who is a good fit for the particular project. For example, if the project is complex or high-profile, it may be necessary to appoint a more experienced site agent.

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
