**Job Description: Sales Assistant - Fruits & Vegetables**

**Location**: Village Grocer, Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru **Department**: Fresh Produce (Fruits & Vegetables)

**Role Overview**

As a Sales Assistant in the Fruits & Vegetables section, you’ll be the face of freshness at Village Grocer. Your role is to ensure that our produce is beautifully displayed, well-stocked, and handled with care — while delivering friendly and knowledgeable service to every customer.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain attractive and hygienic displays of fruits and vegetables
- Monitor product freshness and quality; remove damaged or expired items
- Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
- Prior experience in retail or fresh produce handling is an advantage
- Friendly, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift moderate weights
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Replenish stock and rotate items to ensure optimal shelf life
- Handle weighing, pricing, and packaging of produce
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the department
- Support inventory checks and assist in receiving deliveries
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales and service goals

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
