**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Material Planning & Coordination**:
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production/project schedules.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, warehouse, and project teams for real-time material needs.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels in line with JIT principles.
- Minimize overstock and material wastage while avoiding shortages.
- **Logistics Supervision**:
- Supervise loading, unloading, and internal material transfers.
- Ensure transportation and delivery schedules are met without delays.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of incoming/outgoing materials.
- Generate daily/weekly reports on material movement and JIT efficiency.
- **Team Supervision**:
- Supervise material handlers, storekeepers, or logistics assistants under the JIT unit.
- Ensure team compliance with safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Identify bottlenecks in the JIT flow and propose corrective measures.
- Work with other departments to optimize workflows and reduce lead time.
- **Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, site safety regulations, and quality standards.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in material control, production planning, or JIT coordination.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or inventory software is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
