**Basic Qualification & Prerequite**
- Degree holder in Electrical (Power) Engineering
- Registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM)
- Minimum three(3) year fields experience as Site Engineer in handling substation electrical works.
- Knowledgeable in Electrical Engineering (High Voltage Technology, Electrical Power Systems, Power Electronics)
- Experienced in project planning, execution, coordination, testing and commissioning works.
- Experienced in substation primary and secondary works; primary equipment erection, cabling works, wiring check, switchgear installation and operational tests, power transformer erection, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Operational Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
- Able to comprehend Single Line Diagram, Equipment and Schematic Drawing.
- Fast learner and have deep desire to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge in related fields.
- Independent with strong leadership and critical thinking skills, possess strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.
- Familiar with standard concepts and best practices for construction/substation.
- Ability to cooporate and be strong team player, to ensure close monitoring and coordination within all level of management and able to work under pressure.
- Keen intention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
- Well organized and very handy person.
- Good writing and verbal communication skills both in Bahasa and English.
- Valid driving license.
- Work irregular hours to accomplish urgent shipment and/or pending assignments, when requested.

**Job Summary**
1. Actively assist the Project Manager at site in all aspects of the completion of Installation work.

To implement all procedures and practices as stipulated in company policy/ISO/OSH.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. To be site and to resolve site problems and working closely with Manager, Client’s, Supervisor, site workers and all related parties.

2. To resolve any technical issue with consultant and Engineering.

3. To monitor site activities closely and ensure the works are carried out as per plan and with the highest quality/standard.

4. To calculate the required materials quantity to be purchased and ensure the materials are sent at site on time.

5. To prepare a progress claim and report to client complete with preparation of quantity taking off and always keep on until the progress claim is paid by client.

6. To check progress claim from Subcontractor. Any hesitation on the claimed will be highlighted to the Manager.

7. To manage Subcontractor work at site.

8. To prepare Method of Statement and any technical requirement requested by Client and/or Consultant.

9. To prepare all site audit requirement. Attend the audit and close immediately any comment or NCR if issued.

10. Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, relevant stakeholders and the public using principles of good customer service.
