**Job Summary**:
The Safety and Health Officer is responsible for ensuring workplace safety and compliance with occupational health regulations. This role involves identifying hazards, implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety and health programs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOSH).
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to safety and health activities.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of safety reports.
- Promote a strong safety culture and advise management on health and safety best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Must be a registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH (for Malaysia) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in workplace safety and health.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and emergency procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and audits effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
