Alteration Tailor

**Responsibilities**:

- Consult with customers to understand their desired alterations and repairs for clothing.
- Take accurate measurements to ensure a proper fit.
- Analyze garments to determine the best course of action for alterations or repairs.
- Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to adjust garments according to client specifications.
- Perform various alterations such as taking in seams, letting out seams, shortening hems, lengthening sleeves, and replacing zippers.
- Assist retail staff by identifying potential alteration needs for customers on the sales floor.
- Explain alteration options and pricing to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Work collaboratively with retail staff to ensure timely communication with clients regarding alterations progress and pick-up.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensure timely completion of alterations to meet client deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of tailoring, garment construction and patternmaking.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
