We are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Japanese speaker to join our team as a Content Moderator. As a Content Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing user-generated content to ensure it aligns with our community guidelines and standards. Your role will involve identifying and removing inappropriate or harmful content, as well as providing support to users when necessary.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Content Moderation**: Review user-generated content in Japanese across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, forums, and websites.
- **Enforcement of Guidelines**: Enforce community guidelines and standards by identifying and removing content that violates policies related to hate speech, harassment, violence, and other forms of inappropriate content.
- **Risk Assessment**: Assess the potential risk associated with flagged content and take appropriate action, including escalation to higher authorities when necessary.
- **User Support**: Provide assistance to users regarding content-related inquiries or issues, ensuring a positive user experience.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of content moderation actions and report any emerging trends or patterns in user behavior.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Support, Legal, and Product Development, to address content-related issues effectively.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in content moderation to improve processes and enhance the quality of moderation.
**Requirements**:
- Fluency in Japanese (both written and verbal) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate content objectively.
- Familiarity with online platforms and social media networks.
- Good understanding of internet safety and privacy issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in content moderation or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
**Salary**: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
