EHS Internship

**Job Objectives**:

- To support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team in implementing and maintaining EHS standards, policies, and programs.
- Gain hands-on experience in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating workplace hazards to promote a safe and sustainable working environment.
- Assist in driving compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.

**Roles and Responsibilities:

- **
- EHS Compliance Support : Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant EHS laws, regulations, and company policies. Participate in internal audits and inspections to identify non-compliance issues.
- Risk Assessments : Support the identification and evaluation of workplace hazards and contribute to risk mitigation planning. Help document safety procedures and best practices.
- Data Collection and Reporting : Gather and analyze EHS data (e.g., incident reports, environmental monitoring data) to prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Training and Awareness : Assist in the development and delivery of EHS training programs to employees. Participate in creating awareness campaigns on safety and environmental sustainability.
- Incident Investigation : Support investigations of workplace accidents and near misses, identifying root causes and assisting in corrective and preventive action planning.
- Sustainability Initiatives : Contribute to environmental management initiatives, such as waste reduction, energy conservation, and recycling programs.
- Documentation and Record Keeping : Maintain and update EHS documentation, such as safety manuals, training records, and incident logs.

**Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a degree / diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.

Pay: From RM1,200.00 per month
