**Position Summary**:
This position will be responsible to increase the footfall of the store by attractively displaying products and merchandise for Malaysia (Retail & Wholesale) and Factory Houses in South APAC. He/She is also responsible for the aesthetic ambiance of retail store in a way that maximizes profitability

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Deliver and maintain excellent standards of visual merchandising, including designing store themes, creating visual annual calendar, and executing displays and visual strategies.
- Liaison with department supervisors in product phase launching and themes.
- Create design themes in parallel with marketing calendar, including window display, signage, instore displays, department focal points, etc.
- Conduct research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market features.
- Develop and maintain budgeted calendar for visual materials.
- Ensure brand branches have similar themes and displays every visual turnover.
- Assess and dismantle visual displays in windows and in-store.
- Determine floor layout, traffic flow, and display points, as well product identification with respect to current theme and complimentary of products.
- Identify and source props, fabrics, hardware, and lighting.
- To collaborate with marketing team in creating visual strategies and promotional events in order to entertain, excite, and maintain the interest of the target markets.
- Create visual merchandising packs and calendar to communicate visual guidelines to VM team, including layout principles, visual dressings, techniques, etc.
- To lead and motivate team members to complete displays with high quality standards and within target deadlines.
- Conduct research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market features.
- Develop and maintain budgeted calendar for visual materials.

**Education And / Or Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design and/or equivalent related field of education
- 5+ years of experience in visual merchandising with a retail business background
- Comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design work
- Strong product knowledge and VM displays / standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork, with demonstrated problem solving and creativity to provide well thought-out solutions
- Strong organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Ability to work under pressure in a face-paced environment
