**The Company**

Our client is an innovative and dynamic logistics solutions provider with more than 4000 employees across more than 90 countries and is supported by hundreds of agents globally. The company provides airfreight, sea freight, customs brokerage, local transportation, warehousing, and distribution services. They provide logistics and supply chain solutions to aerospace, automotive, chemical, oil & gas, wine and spirits, and manufacturing industries.

Reporting to the Operation Supervisor, the Operations Specialist will be based in Sepang, Selangor.

**The Operations Specialist will be responsible to**:

- Check all consignments upon arrival at the company’s warehouse, airline warehouse, agents’ warehouse prior to acceptance of cargo.
- Ensure all cargo is received in accordance with the shippers’ invoice, packing list or air-way bill.
- Transfer all import & export consignments upon arrival at the company’s warehouse.
- Collect cargo from GBA warehouse.
- Check on weight and number of cartons for all import consignments with relation to fashion goods to tally with the airwaybill issued at origin.
- Inform the Airfreight Manager of any cargo found damaged, wet, torn, etc.
- Photos to be taken and do survey report.
- Re-weight must be taken for cargo into warehouse and out of warehouse.
- Any shipment found missing must inform the superior for action to be taken.
- Assist in submission of export shipments to airline warehouse.
- Ensure that the company’s warehouse and office is kept clean and tidy.
- Stock Check Report for 3 times to be given to Operation Supervisor in a week.
- Daily trucking report to be sent out to Air/Export team.
- Daily logbook for both import/exports must be recorded for incoming/outgoing shipment.
- Ensure that all cargos kept in the warehouse are kept in the assigned areas.
- Immediate follow-up on discrepancies.
- All delivery orders / pick up orders for both import/exports must be company stamped, name is clearly written / signed and identification number to be mentioned.
- Adhere to the company’s compliance and corporate policies & procedures.
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.

**The Requirements**
- SPM/Diploma/Degree in related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of direct experience in general freight and/or forwarding.
- Possess a GDL license for driving a truck (above 10 tonners/40-footer trucks)
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional image and polished presentation.
- Able to work under pressure and great at multitasking.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
