A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

- Lead and manage overall business performance and budget
- Develop goals and objectives that are tied to growth
- Define the “Go To” market strategy and establish revenue stream(s)
- Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals - To ensure that the business has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g. people, material, equipment etc.)
- Drive ongoing improvement process, technology, user experience, efficiency with relevant stakeholders - To formulate and roll out effective communication campaigns with business owners and operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships and collaborations with key stakeholders (partners/vendors/suppliers/customers)
- Ensure that cost is kept optimal for maximise profits
- Monitor and manage overall business performance against objectives

Revenue Growth
- Responsible for the execution of the product development process from conceptualisation, product proposal to final product design and monetisation strategy
- Ensure end to end delivery of the product with tight integration with business, product and marketing - To articulate market requirements and opportunities
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements

Strategic Planning, Design & Analytics: Cost Reduction
- Own and spearhead discussions with external stakeholders, eg. Finance, IT, HR and vendors to build the business case for all programmes and projects
- Socialise with the relevant HODs within Operations to gather stakeholder buy in (where applicable)

Implementation
- Programmes/Projects Management & Delivery Project Execution
- Manage programmes and projects assigned by GCOO ensuring milestones are achieved and tangible/ intangible benefits are realised
- Work with respective project leads to develop comprehensive programme/project plan which includes the identification of quick wins, risks and dependencies
- Set up workstreams and task forces within each programme/project and the respective milestones/deliverables - Enforce governance within the programme/project delivery
- Chair weekly/monthly meetings
- Review deliverables produced by workstream leads/ project leads
- Work with project work streams/task forces to ensure delivery of project milestones
- Prepare and present presentation materials to internal and external HODs
- Track and monitor the progress of projects
- Identify/highlight potential issues/risks and propose mitigation plan
- Strategize operational processes to ensure solution is optimally utilized to meet solution’s key benefits - Ensure reporting capability is enhanced to indicate actual & accurate results from the solution usage
- Constant status updates & reports to stakeholders on during and post project delivery

Operations Cost Management & Visibility
- Perform continuous assessment of major cost drivers and strategize new initiatives to eliminate wastages and drive efficiencies
- Build visibility across the Operations value chain to ensure operational integrity and transparency

SKILLS

- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Is resourceful and a fast thinker - able to solve problems on-the-go and adapt quickly
- Results and performance driven, preferring data to drive your everyday decisions
- Possess a hands-on mentality and an analytical and structured way of working
- Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization to scale quickly
- Self-motivated with a focus to exceed set goals
- Detail oriented with a knack of spotting the little little things
- Comfortable adapting to new technologies

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree
- Minimum 7 years of working experience - Experience in Management Consulting and Program Management / Project Management Preferred
