**The work location will be based in Saudi Arabia on a permanent contract.**

**Job Scope**:
This job role is to ensure execute Naval Architectural Engineering activities (Concept, Front End Engineering, Technical Study and Detail Design).
**Responsibilities**:
- Preparation of design deliverables complying with all relevant codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.
- Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Management Procedure.
- Progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.
- Interface with other departments to reflect the as-on-date input from other Departments as applicable.
- Capture all changes/modifications in the deliverables that have been intimated by Project, prior to release of deliverable.
- Prepare specification, technical evaluation, Supplier documentation review.
- Maintain the required technical quality of work.
- Identify manpower requirements based on workload.
- Attending project review meetings / 3D model review meetings as required.
- Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents / drawings before release at any revision status.
- Coordination with the other Engineering disciplines, Customer and Supplier.
- Control of Quality of engineering documents regarding Quality assurance basis.
- Review of MTO and Material Requisitions.
- Complete the work within budget and schedule. Raise changes orders for scope change.
- Review project scope of work, specifications, and deliverables. Raise technical queries to maintain preferred practices and operational requirements.
- Supervise and guide the assigned engineers, designers, and draftsmen.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies &procedures.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent.
**Experience**:
- At least 9-15 years’ experience in engineering design department of any offshore rig building or ship building industry.
- Design knowledge/experience in naval architectural calculations used in marine industry.
- Exposure to AutoCAD &3D design tools like AVEVA.
- Exposure in naval architecture software such as NAPA, MOSES etc.
Pay: RM40,000.00 - RM41,700.00 per month
