The Executive Director, Technology supervises all technology people resources globally for Enrolment Solutions and is accountable for overseeing the resources that maintain technology operations and perform platform development functions for the enterprise.
The position of Executive Director of Technology (Enrolment Solutions) reports to the Managing Director of the Enrolment Solutions division of QS with a dotted line to the QS Chief Technology Officer. The position sits on the Senior Management Group for Enrolment Solutions and the Global Wider Leadership Team of QS.

The Enrolment Solutions division of QS is the world’s largest provider of outsourced international and domestic student recruitment, conversion and retention services. As an extension of our university client in-house teams, Enrolment Solutions provides white-labelled conversion services to provide additional scale, expertise and capacity to recruit, convert and retain talented students.

**Primary Functions**

**Duties**
**Technology Operations**
- Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security, Engineering, etc.) and evaluate them according to established goals
- Be responsible for ensuring systems compliance with the requirements of the Information Security Management (ISO/IEC) 27001 certification in close partnership with the QS Chief Information Security Officer
- Identify technology and ISMS related risks, develop corrective action plans and report to upper management
- Contribute to establishing IT policies and systems to support technology business objectives set by management
- Lead on building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
- Be responsible for maintaining SLAs and the KPI performance of the technology stack to the Senior Management Group of the business.
**Product Development**
- Contribute as a member of the Senior Management Group to discussions concerning new product development and improvement setting the vision, goals and initiatives for each IT product
- Ensure that projects/products considered for implementation have a logical fit within QSES and can deliver to the required standard
- Create and manage the development roadmap in line with the product vision
- Create an appropriate team structure and resources plan to deliver to expected timelines
- Coordinate the delivery of all approved programs, projects and major activities.
- Endure timely delivery of all development work to the appropriate quality, in line with agreed timelines
- Foster a high-performance team focused on producing high-quality outcomes at all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
**Client Management**
- Engage with the commercial teams in the representation of technology solutions to prospective clients and engage in pre-sales technical engagements
- Deliver all the client facing products and services to contracted standards.
- Oversee the business analysis and integration resources required to secure client data integrations
- Provide input into client’s contracts and service agreements ensuring that QSES’s interests are protected
**Management**
- As a member of the Senior Management Group within the QS enrolment solutions division, ensure both the budgeting and service levels are appropriate and consistent with the expectations of the enterprise.
- Contribute as a member of the Senior Management Group of enrolment solutions generally to the performance and future outlook of the business.
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment to information security and data privacy best practice
- Manage the performance of all direct reports through appropriate means including the prescribed performance management procedures
- Align the ES technology department with the wider business by analysing requirements of all departments to determine their technology need
