We are looking for Malaysia talents to support our investment team from Genting Ventures Management.

**About Genting Ventures**:
New initiative of Genting Group to invest in technology start-ups that is synergistic and transformational to the group’s business and with high financial return potential. Our focus areas are broad and not only limited to gaming & entertainment, and leisure & hospitality, fintech, agritech, foodtech and even crypto. If you are looking for exposure into wide spectrum of investment verticals, different stages and fund investments, this is the place for you.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Source, screen and evaluate new investment opportunities that are of interest to Genting Ventures
- Conduct market research to build and refine Genting Ventures’ investment thesis across focus sectors
- Carry out market research and due diligence of investment opportunities and create documentation for internal investment decisions
- Manage legacy and new portfolios post investment, portfolio performance tracking
- Business development for portfolio companies among affiliates of Genting Group as well as external partners eg. Venture capitals, corporates, government bodies and etc.
- Contribute and participate in compliance and risks updates and activities.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by Managers and Superiors

**Requirements**:

- 6-8 years’ prior experience from large organization with proper SOPs, M&A and corporate finance background, preferably with experience in business development or partnership
- Proven track record in investment transactions with attention to details
- Strong analytical and research capabilities, able to interpret data and provide relevant conclusion and recommendations
- Ability to write in a clear, succinct manner
- Ability to work quickly on time-sensitive projects in a flexible, collaborative and creative manner.
- Adaptable and a very quick learner
- Strong interest in venture capital and startups space
- Strong relationship management skills to develop new connections, broaden and deepen one’s ecosystem
- A good team player with the ability to work well with colleagues

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
