Job Title: Electronic Repair Technician

**Job Description**:
As an Electronic Repair Technician, your primary responsibility is to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment and devices, with a particular focus on inverters and servo drives. You will work with a variety of electronic systems, including but not limited to consumer electronics, industrial machinery, medical equipment, and communication devices. Your role involves ensuring that electronic equipment operates efficiently and meets quality standards, with expertise in repairing inverters and servo drives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose electronic equipment malfunctions, with a specialized focus on inverters and servo drives, using testing equipment and diagnostic software.
- Repair or replace defective components within inverters and servo drives, such as power modules, control boards, IGBTs, capacitors, and other related components.
- Perform soldering, desoldering, and rework tasks specifically tailored to the repair of inverters and servo drives, ensuring precision and reliability.
- Test repaired inverters and servo drives comprehensively to ensure proper functionality, stability, and compliance with specifications.
- Document repair procedures specific to inverters and servo drives, including parts used, repairs performed, and testing results, maintaining detailed records for quality assurance.
- Provide specialized technical support and assistance to customers or colleagues regarding issues related to inverters and servo drives, offering expert guidance and solutions.
- Maintain an inventory of repair parts and components specific to inverters and servo drives, ensuring adequate stock levels for efficient repairs and minimizing downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines meticulously to ensure a safe working environment, particularly when dealing with high-voltage components in inverters and servo drives.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and industry trends in inverter and servo drive repair techniques and equipment, continuously expanding expertise in this specialized field.
- Collaborate with engineers or other technicians to develop new repair procedures or improve existing ones, contributing insights and expertise in inverter and servo drive repair.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in electronic troubleshooting and repair techniques, with specialized expertise in repairing inverters and servo drives.
- Deep knowledge of inverter and servo drive components, circuits, and systems, including familiarity with various brands and models.
- Extensive experience using electronic testing equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized diagnostic tools for inverters and servo drives.
- Ability to interpret complex electronic schematics and technical manuals specific to inverters and servo drives, facilitating accurate diagnosis and repair.
- Exceptional soldering skills and expertise in surface-mount and through-hole soldering techniques, particularly tailored to the repair of high-power electronic components.
- Attention to detail and precision in diagnosing and repairing inverters and servo drives, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for documenting specialized repair procedures and providing technical support in the field of inverter and servo drive repair.
- Strong teamwork abilities, coupled with the capacity to work independently with mínimal supervision, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet repair deadlines.
- Prior experience in repairing inverters, servo drives, or similar high-power electronic systems is essential.
- Certification or formal training in electronics repair, with a specialization in inverters and servo drives, is highly advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- electronic repair: 3 years (preferred)
