Unix Administrator

The LINUX/**Unix Administrator** reporting to Infrastructure Delivery Manager - Cyberjaya

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as Subject Matter Expert in Linux/Unix
- Installs, configures, and maintains various unix (AIX and Solaris) and Linux server.
- Provide support for the various unix server such as AIX, Solaris and Linux server.
- Perform OS patching and upgrade,

and software.
- Provide support for the key functions ensure that sufficient capacity exists to support the service to the customers.
- perform regular maintenance, upgrades to the infrastructure to ensure a stable operational environment.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent education
- 2+ years of distributed computing operations experience working in a large-scale, complex environment. Financial services industry experience would be a distinct advantage
- 2+ years of experience with Unix/Linux administrator (Linux, Solaris, AIX).
- Familiarize in SAN storage will be an advantage.
- Capable of planning and delivering small to medium infra projects
- Strong understanding of computer operations and data center procedures, understanding of ITIL methodologies an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, Ability to actively listen and clearly communicate with other teams globally.
- Strong Problem management and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated
- Adaptable to change
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- UNIX: 2 years (required)
- SAN storage: 1 year (required)
