To develop and coordinate Lifelong Learning programmes, and possess understanding of Lifelong Learning practices and latest trends in the skills needs;
- To develop and coordinate Language training programmes, and possess profound knowledge and experience in teaching foreign languages and foreign language acquisition;
- To upkeep and ensure the academic quality assurance and enhancement procedures of all programmes/courses offered by the Academy, as well as for the professional development of instructors/trainers;
- To review individual and organisational development and training needs, and develop appropriate professional development programmes/courses;
- To ensure all training activities and materials meet with training requirements and statutory policies, including health and safety, legal stipulations, general duty of care and employment laws;
- To research on latest trends and professional developmental areas, collaborate with Business Development and Marketing and other departments for the recommendation of relevant corporate professional development programmes; and
- To identify, assess, manage, and monitor Academy employees’ professional development and creating environment for their continuing education and motivation.
**; Requirements**:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (a Master’s degree is preferred) in relevant field of study from a nationally accredited institution with at least 2 years’ experience in corporate professional development programmes development and training;
- A HRD Corp Accredited Trainer;
- Demonstrated experience in and commitment to working collaboratively with academics/trainers;
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance and enhancement of professional development and corporate programmes;
- Good standard of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage);
- Comprehensive IT skills, with good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Packages including social media;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Excellent organizational skills and management of resources;
- Ability to be pro-active and display initiative;
- Willingness to learn and acquire new skills;
- Ability to present information in appropriate formats according to audience and fit for purpose;
- Willingness to accept additional responsibilities with understanding and commitment to supporting the Academy to meet its targets for success; and
- A professional and supportive team player who enjoys effective collaboration with colleagues.
