**Job Purpose**:
Services Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving a Gross Profit Target for both the Annuity Services and Implementation Services. This role will be working with greater Tech Data team to identify and develop revenue opportunities in services, and drive partner recruitment and enablement in consultation with Account Managers. The role will also owns and manages sales forecast by revenue margin for respective services or customer set.

**Responsibilities**:

- Services business development
- Recruit new services partners for assigned vendor/business unit to broaden own customer base and offer more to existing customers
- Drive and review services opportunity pipeline with Account Managers
- Leverage specialist knowledge of vendor/technology services offerings and marketplace to identify opportunities to increase market share
- Manage the follow-up of all services leads created from marketing and sales activities as well as leads received from the vendor
- Results to be reported to Tech Data management, marketing and the Vendor where required.
- Take ownership of large and complex accounts at the national level and maintain close relationship with key customers in enterprise value added resellers (VARs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), cloud service providers, data centers
- Work with Account Managers to deliver solution proposals to our customers, across multiple vendors.
- Develop existing accounts to maximize their services return.
- Enable the Tech Data Account Managers to identify opportunities to promote services within their account, deliver an elevator pitch to their accounts and understand the basic benefits and competitive advantages of services offerings and partner programs.
- Services Sales Strategy Development
- Develop services sales strategies required to achieve the defined sales targets for the BU.
- Support sales process in all activities including marketing, advertising, sales promotion and training in order to achieve growth in services revenue targets

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 8-10 years Sales, Services Business Development, Product or Channel management in the IT industry in the sub region.
- Proven track record driving services sales activities.
- Experience in handling large accounts/ customers in the enterprise VARs, MSPs, data centers, on a national basis
- Proven ability in working with major IT Vendors and their services sales representatives.
- Proven ability with complex business issues.
- Expertise in the preparation of services quotes.
- Preferable: Vendor solutions knowledge.
- Degree qualification preferably in (but not limited to) Information Technology and / or Marketing.
- Preferably previous experience in leading teams
