1. To Inspect, monitor, audit all safety system implemented within the company and ensure they are within the government legislations (e.g. FMA, OSHA, Environmental Quality Act etc.).

2. To check all fire equipment (e.g. Extinguisher etc.) and ensure they are regularly maintained by vendors and having the required fire certificates renewed yearly for all sites. This is done in coordination with operation managers.

3. To monitor all air compressors, hoist system on the site to ensure registration with the relevant departments. Should there be any issues to the above, to document and inform all relevant parties.

4. To come out procedures, work instruction and their translation into Bahasa in tandem with human resources.

5. To follow up with all the relevant parties when audit is done by DOSH, DOE etc. To monitor and ensure that any issues highlighted are subsequently resolved with the relevant stakeholders in the submission of data to the above department.

6. To work with the relevant stakeholders on the respective manufacturing sites to ensure compliance to the company safety standards and subsequent inputs to top management of any major issues may arise due to non-compliance.

7. To act as the safety committee secretary for all safety committee conducted by the various companies within the group. Minutes must be distributed within the timeframe base on osha 94 too all relevant parties and most of a copy to top management.

8. Investigate any safety violation or accident, near miss and submit report to human resources for the appropriate action or remedy to be taken to avoid any repetition. To work with all stakeholder to reduce accident on site to meet company standard through education and disciplinary action.

9. To assist the company in organizing and implementing occupational safety and health program at place of work. To inspect workers quarters as and when required if any health issue is raised.

10. To assist safety committee in any inspection at the side to check the effectiveness of any measures taken in compliance with the legislations and regulations made under the Factories and Machinery Act 1967, OSHA 94, Environmental Quality Act 1974, Building by Law 1984, Fire services Act 1988 to name a few

11. To follow up on the relevant parties to ensure the submission of reports to the various department (e.g. DOSH, DOE etc.) on time and the follow up on the vendors approved on any projects (e.g. CHRA, Technical Drawing etc.).

12. To monitor and audit all respective site on the usage of checklist in compliance to the procedure issues to ensure that there is continuity in tracking relevant data.

13. To update the safety policy of the company and whatever other documents when due.

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
