**The Opportunity**:
Our partner, a specialist insurance brokerage in Australia, provides comprehensive insurance and risk management services to Faith, Charity, and Not-for-profit organizations throughout Australia. They are a social enterprise, not for profit that exists to serve not for profits.

As a Broker Assistant, you will support the Account Manager & the team to process renewals, endorsements, and new business policies. A primary objective is to deliver professional and efficient customer service consistent with the mission and values while adhering to company and industry compliance standards

You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with the onshore team in Australia.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and manage insurance programs for clients.
- Place insurance with insurers and assess client needs.
- Present recommendations and handle administrative tasks.
- Record changes in insurance coverage and settle claims.
- Invoice clients and maintain client relationships.
- Assist other brokers when required with general inquiries.
- Adhere to administrative systems and compliance requirements.
- Record and document changes in client's insurance cover as they occur, including endorsements.
- Prepare Insurance Manuals and Insurance Schedules for clients.
- Ensure timely settlement of client's insurance claims by working closely with the Claims Officer

**Skill, Experience, and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- 2-3 years of experience as a Broker Assistant
- Experience in General Insurance or Broking Industry with commercial lines product knowledge
- Desirable qualification: Tier 1 insurance
- Proficiency with computer systems such as MS Office, Winbeat, and Officetech
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
