Job Description**
ROLE SUMMARY**:
The Event Manager is responsible for designing and delivering the product / event experience for our customers in support of the Deputy Event Director. Through a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs he / she will develop the long-term Event design, through both responding to existing customer feedback and identifying new and innovative opportunities to improve the Event. He / she will support the management of the P&L of an Event, while supporting with the financial, operational and customer performance of each product. Working alongside Sales, Marketing and Operations, the Event Manager will ensure all elements are aligned to create a successful Event. He / she will oversee the Event floorplan, managing the positioning and strategic decisions as the point of contact for all involved parties. In addition, experience developing digital event content and digital products based on go to market insights and trend to the proposition to support sales revenue generation.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the development of Event’s strategy and direction, to enrich the value proposition IM provides.
- Design the Event experience, ensuring a high level of delivery in support of the Event’s strategy and customer needs
- Develop and improve the customer experience at each Event, ensuring feedback is collated and incorporated.
- Develop the longer-term Event design alongside the Deputy Event Director, using both customer feedback and innovative thought to develop and maintain the Brand as a market leader.
- Support the Deputy Event Director in the management of the Brand P&L, including successful delivery of complementary products features, conferences and seminars which is aiming to improve customer experience year on year
- Handle Key accounts, and responsible for at least one worldwide / Regional key account in the profile matrix.
- Ensure the sales coverage in the world with proper arrangement whether through sales agent or our own team. Define a sales strategy and supporting campaigns to execute against a set of targets.
- Selling both digital, data and audience-based propositions to clients.
- With in-depth knowledge and understanding in developing and leading digital or data products sales alongside audience, data and analytics sales, bundle with physical product sales.
- Develop deep industry knowledge through personal relationships and market analysis
- Negotiate with venues and suppliers together with Operations and Procurement for Event specific requirements.
- Build relationships with key customers to understand both specific and wider market needs, feeding trends / issues back into Event strategy.
- Build Relationship with Associations and Government agency in each country and identify plus develop partner relationship.
- Liaise with Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, Operations, and finance teams to ensure all elements of the Event are in alignment to create successful event
- Support the Deputy Event Director in overseeing the Event floorplan, managed by the Sales Operations team, escalating any strategic decisions where required.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- University Bachelor’s Degree / University of Applied Sciences qualification
- 3 years’ management experience in a Event Management team
- Significant experience in a developing brand and sales strategies with strong sales acumen, preferrable with Energy, HVAC & M&E industry knowledge.
- Strong experience in managing relationships with international customers across various regions and cultures
- Fluent in English speaking & writing
- Ability to act as an independent, inspirational leader with charisma and energy
- Ability to develop relationships at senior levels and support the management of and interaction with high value customer accounts
