General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for the overall brand development, day to day running and management of the business units. The company plans to open up more POS and retail outlets as wholly owned, BOSS or franchise stores in region.

The mandate for the successful individual will continues to establish and manage a fully integrated business operation. The specific functions in the organization are: sales in each business unit, marketing, merchandising & procurement, account, finance & auditing and business operations & administration, human resources, distribution, IT and legal compliance.

He/She will need to achieve established financial and growth targets by coordinating and leveraging resources within and without the corporation through strategizing and flawless process and execution, and effective management in all aspects of the operation.

He/She will include the company values someone who has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, has strong customer service orientation and a strong track record of building successful organizations preferably Trading, Retail and Others Organization.

Specific responsibilities of the General Manager will include, but are not be limited to:

- Develop and execute business unit development plan to achieve the sales targets.
- Execute strategic, financial and distribution objectives in the and the region over time. Recruit, train and manage necessary human resources to accomplish these objectives.
- Negotiate third party distribution for the trading and retail set up according to plan.
- Execute a marketing strategy and plan to maximize brand awareness and consumer pull to achieve the corporate growth objectives. Must have a brand building/value added approach.
- Overall responsibility to meet or exceed Revenue, EBITDA and Net Profit targets.
- Manage and develop direct reports to establish goals and measures, define roles and responsibilities, develop training plans, conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback and coaching, recognize and reward performance.

**Experience &**

**Qualification **:Experience Required / Preferred
- A seasoned business professional with approximately 10 years of trading and retail experience with local or multinational companies. Minimum of 5 years in management leadership roles.
- Proven track record within trading and retail operations in SME will be a strong plus. Fashion and FMCG experience are desired.

Skills Required
- Excellent Trilingual: Bahasa and English.
- Has a “Can Do” attitude and mind-set. A problem solver.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, due to the location of the position being in Johor Bahru and managing business operations branches in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu.
- Full integrity in both business and personal life is a MUST.
- Team player with excellent management skills.
