**Brief summary of Position**

The admin officer in the Student Services Department is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support and provides services overseen by the head of the department. Provides an excellent standard of customer service to all students in enhancing the learning experience during their studies at the university.

**Responsibilities**:
1) Runs the university induction/orientation day for new students. Prepares and ensures the readiness of the program before it takes place. Reports to the head of the department if there is any problem with the event preparation.

2) Offers advices and services for students in adapting to the rules and regulations of the university. Gather and circulate the university’s general information in a timely and accurate manner on behalf of the head of department.

3) Provide administrative and clerical support services including filing and records management, mails, as well as efficient handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence and phone calls.

4) Attends and responds to student problems or complaints as best as possible. Find a solution immediately and refer to the head of the department if the problem is beyond ability.

5) Carries out all administrative duties related to student hostels or accommodation by ensuring the best hospitality services are received by students.

6) Maintains good documentation work for the reference of the head of department and managements.

7) Assists and supports the head of department in dealing with emergency cases by producing information and ideas.

8) Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor’s degree in any related field.

2. STPM/STAM/Diploma holder.

3. Fluent (Speaking, writing and reading) in English and Arabic language.
