QA Manager

**Job purpose** Quality Manager in a metal stamping filed is to responsible for maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits, and investigating customer complaints. Collaborates with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods. **Duties and responsibilities** 1. Quality Assurance/Control Oversight: - The Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring and overseeing the entire overall process to ensure that it meets quality standards. This involves supervising various stagesof production. 2. Quality Assurance/Control Procedures: - The Quality Manager develops and implements quality assurance procedures and guidelines to maintain consistent and high-quality production. They establish quality benchmarks, specifications, and testing methods to ensure that finished products meet or exceed customer expectations. 3.Testing and Inspection: - The Quality manager conducts rigorous testing and inspection of metal part or materials to assess measurement requirement and overall quality. They may use various testing equipment and instruments to perform these assessments. 4. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintaining accurate records of production activities, including batch details, quality assessments, and any incidents base on ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements - Generating completed QC monthly reports and performance metrics for management review. - Fully in charge and manage ISO system. 5. Quality Audits: - Regularly conducting quality audits to identify potential issues or areas for improvement within the working flow processes. These audits help ensure that standard operating procedures are being followed and that any deviations are addressed promptly. 6. Problem Solving & Improvement: - In case of quality issues or deviations, the Quality Manager is responsible for identifying the root causes, implementing corrective actions, and preventing similar issues from occurring in the future. - Continuous Improvement: Strives for continuous improvement by analysing quality data, identifying trends, and proposing process enhancements to optimize product quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. 7. Collaboration: - Collaborates with other departments, such as production, operations, and customer service, to address quality-related concerns and ensure that production processes are aligned with customer specifications. 8. Training and Development: - The Quality Manager may train and educate all staff and workers on quality control standards, procedures, and best practices. They work to ensure that all employees involved in the production process understand and adhere to quality requirements. 11. Customer Interaction: Interacts with customers to understand their quality requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on quality control measures. 12. Resource Management: Manages resources, including equipment, testing materials and manpower, to effectively carry out quality control activities. 13Health and Safety: - Ensuring a safe working environment for production staff by enforcing safety guidelines and promoting adherence to safety protocols. 14. Perform other related responsibilities or ad hoc duties as required by superior. **Training Needed** ISO 9001 and 14001 knowledge **Tools Required to Perform the Job Effectively** At least >10 years in QC in Metal Stamping line with manufacturing knowledge Academic Qualification 1. At lease Degree or above **Job Description**: **Skill and Experience Required** 1. At least 5 years in managerial level. 2.Good initiative and self-motivation. 3.Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English with Mandarin as an alternative or additional. **Salary**: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Melaka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
