**Position Overview**
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
- Create pivot tables and perform ad hoc data slicing/dicing using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Conduct data sanity checks and data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in data mining and exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
- Prepare routine reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, Marketing) to gather data requirements and deliver insights.
- Document data processes, maintain data dictionaries, and ensure proper version control.
- Escalate data issues and discrepancies, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve them.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a data-focused role (e.g., data entry/validation, junior data analyst, reporting assistant).
- Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, conditional formatting) and/or Google Sheets.
- Experience writing basic SQL queries for data extraction and simple joins will be a plus.
- Familiarity with basic data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio) is a plus.
- Understanding of data governance principles and data quality best practices.

**Working Conditions**
- **Location**: Office-based in Cyberjaya
- **Hours**: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM).
- **Environment**: Air-conditioned office with ergonomic workstations; laptop/desktop, dual monitors, and necessary software provided
- **Collaboration**: Regular interaction with the Project Manager, as well as periodic meetings with stakeholders from Operations, Finance, and Marketing.

**Salary Range & Benefits**
- **Monthly Salary Range**: RM 2,500 - RM 2,800 (negotiable based on experience and skill set).
