Business Development Executive

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1. Business Development for Rasa Mala**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the **Rasa Mala** brand, including new markets, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, trends, and competitors in the Malay F&B industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition for **Rasa Mala**.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and potential partners.
**2. Sales and Marketing Support**:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with the Malay audience.
- Assist in organizing promotional events, food festivals, and other activities to boost **Rasa Mala**’s visibility.
- Monitor sales performance and provide insights to improve revenue growth for **Rasa Mala**.
**3. Operational Support**:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of **Rasa Mala** outlets.
- Provide feedback on operational processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Assist in training new staff members, ensuring they align with the brand’s values and standards.
**4. Cross-Brand Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with teams from **Huo Long Malatang** and **Ping Min Hotpot** to share best practices and leverage synergies across the group.
- Support group-wide initiatives, such as loyalty programs, marketing campaigns, and operational improvements.
**5. Community Engagement**:
- Act as a cultural liaison to ensure **Rasa Mala** connects authentically with the Malay community.
- Engage with local communities, influencers, and organizations to build a strong brand presence.
- Represent **Rasa Mala** at events, networking sessions, and industry gatherings.
**6. Reporting and Analysis**:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends for **Rasa Mala**.
- Analyze data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to the management team at **Elcy Group**.
**Requirements**:
- **Ethnicity**: Malay (to align with the brand’s cultural identity and target audience).
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or F&B operations (fresh graduates with relevant internships may also be considered).
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of the Malay F&B industry and cultural preferences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- **Attributes**:
- Passionate about food and hospitality.
- Proactive, creative, and results-driven.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
