Retail Pharmacist

Provide medical based advises to customer and recommend suitable medicine and promote health supplements and other products according to customers need
- Provide basic health screenings
- Communicate new product promotion and ensure promotion are communicated accurately to customers
- Provide excellent service and maintain good relationship with all our customers
- Touring the selling floor regularly, taking to customers and identifying or resolving urgent issues
- Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
- Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues
- Manage and oversee outlet operation according to SOPs of the company
- Able to maintain the proper storage and keep alert on the conditions for the medicine
- Assist in stock take and responsible for expired / shortage of medicine
- Responsible for purchasing drugs and over-the-counter items and dealing with suppliers.
- Ensure inventory record and the stock are always tally and making key decisions about stock control
- Receive stocks according to purchase order
- Ensure the pharmacy always comply to government regulatory
- Upkeep prescription and poison book record
- Execute best pharmacy practice and follow guidelines given by authority and the Company
- Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales
- Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
- Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
- Create a work friendly environment among staffs and other employees.

- Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
- Dealing with staffing issues such as conduction appraisals or organizing training and development (On the Job Training to the staff)
- Be responsible in providing and updating and guidance and teaching to the subordinates on business performance, new initiatives, and other pertinent issues
- Attending and chairing meetings
- Be responsible in managing staff schedule
- Always keeps up to date on the market trend in term of medication, product knowledge and latest pharmacology finding, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doing
- Organize and participate special promotional activities, displays and events

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology or equivalent & Malaysian Registered Pharmacist
- Eligible to obtain license A
- Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
- Strong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain corporation
- Outgoing and Pleasant personality, Responsible, Customer-friendly.
- Positive working attitude, passionate about Pharmacist profession
- Ability to solve practical problems and to deal with variety of changing situation under stress
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong verbal and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
