Job Title: Assistant General Manager
Location: Ipoh
Reports to: General Manager / Owner
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Control & Financial Management:
- Monitor daily operational costs, labor, and food costs to ensure profitability.
- Work closely with the General Manager to create and adhere to budgets.
- Analyze P&L statements and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
- Operational Oversight:
- Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service across both outlets.
- Plan and implement efficient scheduling for all staff.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning to standard.
- Administrative & Planning Duties:
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, staffing, and financials.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed.
- Oversee purchasing, ensuring proper stock levels and cost-effective vendor management.
- Hygiene & Quality Control:
- Ensure that both outlets meet all hygiene and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce cleanliness protocols for staff and facilities.
- Staff Leadership & Development:
- Train and develop staff, ensuring a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Assist in recruitment, training, and performance management of team members.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a multi-outlet environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and financial analysis.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and administrative skills.
- High attention to detail, particularly with hygiene and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
