Building and Maintenance Officer

**About the role**

This is a full-time Building and Maintenance Officer role based in Hicom Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor. As the Building and Maintenance Officer at City-Link Express (M) Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's facilities and infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional and well-kept work environment for all employees.

**What you'll be doing**
- Arrange in house technicians and contractors to do repair works with regards to electrical, civil and plumbing.
- Create purchase orders, issue payment requests, to verify invoices and documents for all maintenance repair and renovation works.
- Liaison with government authorities in all matters related to building premises in the company.
- Planning, supervision and monitoring of the time schedule for renovation projects and other ad-hoc assignments to ensure completion of project within the timeline.
- To draw out plan layout, carry out site visits and write technical reports.
- To ensure all documents are properly filed for auditing purpose.
- To monitor and follow through closely on branches thru Regional In Charge, Branch In Charge to ensure the premises are kept in good condition.
- To ensure that all premises are clean and well maintained to comply with the regulatory bodies.
- Assist technician to solve/rectify any technical problem for in house maintenance works or repairs and renovation or relocation project.
- To co-ordinate with users from other departments and direct the task accordingly either in-house or contractor.
- To be on stand-by to assist on any emergency matters related to maintenance.
- To liaise with the cleaning vendors to ensure cleanliness of the premise for Head Office, Shah Alam and Operations Hub and Warehouse in Bandar Saujana Putra.
- To ensure all urgent requests are responded within 24 hours.
- Follow all ISO and Company’s policies and procedures.
- To handle any additional task assigned by Head of Department from time to time.

**What we're looking for**
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a building maintenance or facilities management role
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong technical skills in areas such as electrical, carpentry and etc
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Organised and detail-oriented approach to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Understanding of relevant safety regulations and building codes

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
