Project Manager, PD&L

Under regular supervision, manages the planning and execution of smaller, less complex marketing and product development projects. Results are achieved by utilizing project management fundamentals to manage and facilitate a cross-functional team through the marketing and product development process. Monitors project budget(s). Assignments are not restricted to, but typically will have a moderate impact on the product studio, with a moderate degree of scope, complexity, and risk.

**Task**
- Achieve projects results through relationships and the ability to influence people.
- Setting project resource plan and budget and ensure objectives are met.
- Lead the project team through the Steelcase Global PD&L ensuring project documentation is complete and the project is in-compliance.
- Setting project scope, schedule, and overall objectives. Create and execute project strategy(s) to optimize business results. Plan, control and execute the project, managing all changes to ensure the project achieves the overall result as compared to the original objectives. Ensure decisions are made, issues are resolved, and corrective action plans are identified. Acquire project authorizations and approvals. Ensure proper collection and dissemination of project information.

**Education/Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a field related to product development preferred.
- Project Mgt Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Mgt Institute (PMI) preferred.
- Minimum two years in product development team experience in a leadership capacity.
