**Funding Societies | Modalku** is the largest SME digital financing platform in Southeast Asia. We are licensed in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and registered in Malaysia. We are backed by Sequoia India and Softbank Ventures Asia Corp amongst many others and provides business financing to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which is crowdfunded by individual and institutional investors.

We are looking for a **Social Media & PR Intern** who will be responsible for supporting the team to assist with social media and PR planning for Funding Societies. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

**What you will do**:

- To work alongside the Marketing team in helping with the idea generation, including the execution of the monthly marketing initiatives, especially on social media and PR.
- To explore and suggest creative ideas for Funding Societies’ various social media platforms (creativity on video content platforms (i.e. IG Reels & Tik Tok) is a plus.
- To assist in the management of key opinion leaders (KOLs) and social media influencers for various marketing campaigns (i.e. webinar and promotions)
- To coordinate with the creative team/agency for the ideation creative process that covers planning, stakeholder and feedback management
- To assist in managing and drafting the content for Funding Societies’ various communication channels (social media, blog, third-party platform including news agencies).
- When required, to attend to any other ad hoc tasks assigned
**What we are looking for**:

- Undergraduates/fresh graduates with a Marketing/Communication/PR degree.
- Has excellent comprehension and communication skills to manage the different stakeholders when performing assigned tasks.
- Is an organized multi-tasker who’s able to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Is someone who is actively seeking ways to improve execution approaches to achieve the set deliverables based on his/her understanding of the trends of the market.
- Is someone with exceptional understanding of the digital content writing nuances, which include social media captions (the use of hashtags, emojis, acronyms) and press releases.
- Be familiar with editing tools such as Photoshop/ Canva, and an additional experience with content creation is a plus, even if not professionally.
- Compassionate to understand customers’ needs based on the interactions via social media platforms.
- Be willing to fulfill the duration of the internship requirement for a minimum of 3 months (maximum 6 months).
