**Responsibilities**

1. Supplier Management:

- Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional suppliers
- Source and engage reliable suppliers and monitor and evaluate supplier performance such as quality, delivery lead time, service and support

2. Contract Negotiation:

- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing that align with organizational goals. Draft and review contracts to mitigate risks and protect company interests.
- Work closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favourable.

3. Cost Control & Budget Management:

- Develop and manage procurement budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement-related expenses without compromising on quality.
- Evaluate spending operations while asking for ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries.
- Conduct cost analyses and set benchmarks for improvement.

4. Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Mitigate procurement risks by identifying potential supply chain issues and implementing solutions.

5. Team Leadership:

- Supervise, train, and develop the procurement team. Set clear performance goals and provide feedback to optimize team efficiency and productivity.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

- Provide regular reports on procurement activities, including savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
- Analyze data to improve decision-making and identify trends.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal departments, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with broader company objectives.

8. Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing:

- Champion sustainable and ethical procurement practices, ensuring that the company sources responsibly and aligns with sustainability goals.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation abilities to secure the best deals while maintaining positive supplier relationships
- Ability to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in procurement processes and documentation.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
