**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for preparing and roasting various types of single-origin coffees, as well as post-blend coffees for both espresso and filter brewing.
- Assist in loading green coffee beans into the roasting machine and unloading roasted beans post-roast.
- Monitor roasting parameters, including temperature, time, and airflow settings according to schedule.
- Conduct visual inspections of roasted beans for colour, consistency, and any signs of defects.
- Assist in cupping sessions to evaluate the aroma, flavour, and body of roasted coffee samples and record observations for reference and analysis.
- Measure and seal cold brew in tin cans, then arrange them systematically in the storage area.
- Follow quality control protocols to ensure that roasted beans meet company standards for freshness and flavour.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating roasting equipment.
- Manage the ordering of green coffee inventory from preferred suppliers.
- Support in inventory management tasks, including counting and organizing bags of green coffee beans and roasted coffee.
- Help maintain a clean and organized workspace in the roastery, including sweeping floors and disposing of waste materials.
- Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Familiarity with roasting machines would be an added advantage.
- Passionate in coffee and a desire to learn about coffee roasting techniques and processes.
- Physically fit for manual work and well-organized
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Able to work under pressure with a mínimal supervision and good time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
- Confident, proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
