Job Title: Security and Network Operations Analyst

About the role:
Are you passionate about safeguarding digital landscapes and ensuring uninterrupted network operations? Due to a huge period of growth within BSI, we're seeking a skilled Security and Network Operations Analyst to join our dynamic global team in APAC as we embark on our Global Security transformation programme.

Within this role you will work alongside the Head of Security Operations as a key part of the technical operations team, responding to incidents, looking for threats and managing security and network technologies.

This is a full time, permanent position with hybrid working in place, and occasional business travel required to other hubs in our APAC region to support where needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- To implement and maintain security & network technologies and assist with network changes and configuration.
- Researches, designs, and implements network and cyber security solutions for organisation systems and products that comply with all applicable network & security policies and standards.
- Works with IT, internal and external business partners to ensure that security is factored in the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration process of hardware and software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe to optimise network performance and reliability.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and industry best practices to enhance security posture.
- Understands business needs and has a commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt and efficient service to the business.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Proven experience and strong skillset within Network & Security Operations, with hands on experience with configuration and management of technology.
- Working experience using Meraki & Cisco highly advantageous.
- Deep understanding of network topologies including wired / wireless switching (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Holding a relevant professional qualification within Security such as Security +, GSEC, CISSP, SSCP or any Microsoft Certifications, would be beneficial.
- Confident and energetic interpersonal skills and can display leadership qualities using your own initiative and stakeholder communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
