Science / Mathematics Support Teacher

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Position** : Science / Mathematics Support Teacher
**Report to** : The Head of Faculty
**School** : King Henry VIII College, Cyberjaya

**Qualifications**:

- Honours degree in **Science, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry or Physics**.
- Able to communicate fluently in **Mandarin & English**.
- Experience of teaching to up to A levels, preferably with experience in an International School.
- Experience of teaching Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) to IGCSE.
- PGCE or equivalent qualification.
- Computer literacy (familiar with Google Classroom and Sparks), excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and ability to add value to our team.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English.
- Experience with curriculum design and development.
- Strong understanding of Science/Mathematics curriculum standard and best practice.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents and administration to support student success.
- Ability to manage a classroom and promote an engaging learning environment.
- Experience of working with EAL learners would be an advantage.

- working collaboratively to achieve the school’s aims and its development plan.
- reporting on students’ progress to parents in accordance with school policies.
- setting examinations/tests/coursework as required by the Head of Faculty.
- attending parents’ evenings and being available for further parental contact where necessary during the course of the year.
- carrying out any tasks that are reasonably requested by senior colleagues.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
