Duties of the Parts Controller Role: -Managing and overseeing the planning, procurement, and issuing of parts. -Responsible for all aspects of inventory management, including receiving and purchasing goods, organizing storage racks, issuing and returning goods, and maintaining inventory records. -Ensuring optimal stock levels, cost-efficient warehousing, and collaborating with logistics service providers when necessary. -Maintaining regular communication with the headquarters to address parts-related matters. -Upholding strict adherence to company policies and procedures related to branch parts operations and inventory control. Aiding in achieving the targeted stock turnover ratio. -Ensuring timely handling of back orders, tracking parts supply, and fulfilling customer needs. Responsible for maintaining efficient parts administration and consistently carrying out effective housekeeping tasks. -Undertaking additional assignments or tasks as assigned by superiors when the need arises. -Ensuring physical stock quantities match stock cards and the system. -Monitoring and performing internal stock audits on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to prevent discrepancies. Validation by the Service Manager is essential. -Identifying specific parts, verifying prices and stock availability, and reporting to relevant individuals. Requirements: Basic knowledge in automobile construction and parts. Possess fundamental computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, mainly Word and Excel. A collaborative team player with initiative and the capacity to motivate subordinates. Displaying a willingness to learn and adapt. Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and capability to work under pressure. Basic written and verbal communication skills in English. Able to work in Kuantan, Pahang
