**Job title: Shipping / Logistic Manager**

Location: Seelong, Senai, Johor

**Salary**: RM 6,000 to RM8,000

Working hours: Mon - Fr (8am to 5pm)

Our client, a domestic appliances manufacturer, is looking for a Shipping / Logistic Manager to be based in Seelong, Johor.

**Responsibilities**:
**Logistics and Shipping Operations**:

- Oversee and manage end-to-end shipping processes for exports, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.
- Coordinate with production, warehousing, and distribution teams to streamline the shipping schedule.
- Arrange appropriate shipping methods (sea, air, or land) and manage container bookings.

**Export Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and documentation standards for exporting countries.
- Prepare and verify shipping and customs documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

**Vendor and Stakeholder Management**:

- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to negotiate competitive rates and manage relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients concerning shipping and delivery inquiries.

**Performance Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Monitor shipping performance metrics, including lead times, costs, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement in logistics operations and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.

**Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination**:

- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure optimal stock levels for export orders.
- Oversee the safe handling, packing, and loading of products to minimize damage during transit.

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead and mentor the shipping and logistics team to achieve departmental goals.
- Conduct regular training to stay updated on export regulations and best practices.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in export shipping, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of export regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in shipping software and systems.
- Able to read and speak in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
