**Job Description**:
**Role and Responsibilities**
- The Plant Manager will directly and indirectly lead an organization of around 800+ employees of both engineering and manufacturing personnels and will be responsible to lead, manage and develop the organization's leadership, competency and skills to meet existing and future needs. The person must have the ability to manage, prioritize and allocate resources and competencies when necessary.
- The person must be able to create a vision and operating strategy for the site for the next 5-10 years and develop, implement and monitor effective and efficient tactics and execution to meet the vision and operating strategy.
- The person must be able to strategize and plan the plant annual operating budget and performance which includes setting the site strategic directions, initiatives and tactics, defining the Key Performance Indicators, lead and partner with HR on staff planning, performance management and development and other policies and procedures at site level.
- The person must be the leader and role model who is responsible to define, develop, implement and monitor policies and standards globally and at the site and be seen as the company representative on global and local regulatory compliance and issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering or related discipline and competent in Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma.
- Someone who has strong values on safety and integrity, be highly empathic with ability to engage with employees at all levels but at the same time able to demonstrate result orientation with excellent ethics. Must be able to work well with people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities and show high willingness to collaborate across boundaries, share and learn the best practices from other sites.
- Someone who is a passionate leader and willing to work with people from all levels and backgrounds by leading, collaborating and coaching them to deliver the strategic plan and results for the company and plant.
- Strong English and Malay language communication skills (both written and verbal).
