**Associate PROFESSOR in IT (Expatriate)**
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Contribute significantly to curriculum development, innovation, enhancement and quality assurance in the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum
2. Develop and deliver innovative and excellent teaching, learning and assessment experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate students
3. Conduct world class research, maintaining an active record of high quality publication, grants, and PhD student supervision
4. Contribute to the development and implementation of a research strategy for School of Information Technology consistent with the research priorities.
5. Contribute to the development of strong collaborations with other universities and with government, industry and/or civil society to drive research impact and educational excellence
6. Contribute to the management of education, research and/or administration in the School, including coaching, mentorship, leadership and effective performance management
7. Lead the School’s research in thematic areas and mentor junior staff in educational, research, or career development matters
**Key Selection Criteria**
1. A doctoral qualification (PhD) or equivalent qualification
2. A strong record of successful and innovative curriculum development
3. An outstanding record of teaching which demonstrates a commitment to educational innovation
4. An outstanding record of teaching which demonstrated by world class publications, grants and PhD supervision doctoral qualification (PhD) or equivalent qualification
5. A strong record in record in research leadership including generating research income, leading major research projects and, where relevant, building research teams
6. Ability to promote the discipline internally within the university as well as externally, both nationally and internationally
7. Demonstrated skills and experience in collaboration and leadership
6. Eligible to register with the MBOT as a Professional Technologist
**Attractive remuneration package**
- A wide range of leave options are available for staff including annual leave of 26 days, medical leave of 22 working days, hospitalisation leave of up to 60 calendar days and special leave of up to 10 days.

**Additional benefits for expatriate staff**
- Expatriate staff will receive a one-off relocation allowance to cover relocation expenses and temporary accommodation.
- Expatriate staff will also receive an air ticket as below, upon commencement of employment:
○ If necessary and appropriate, Monash University Malaysia will provide a direct one-way economy air ticket from your country of residence prior to Malaysia.
○ A matching benefit will be provided to your spouse and dependent children up to age 18 years or up to age 24 years if in full-time higher education.
○ Home Travel Air Ticket: You are eligible for one return economy air ticket to an international airport closest to your home city, provided 12 months of service has been completed and not in the last year of service.
- School tuition fee will be subsidised for your children enrolled full-time in a private or international school in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru or Segamat. Tuition fee subsidy is limited to RM40,000 per staff per year.
