Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage Azure networking components, including Virtual Networks (VNets), Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Application Security Groups (ASGs), and Azure Firewall.
- Establish and maintain secure connectivity between Azure regions and on-premises data centers using services such as Azure VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing, DNS, and IP address management (IPAM) across the hybrid environment.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, providing timely resolution.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, with a minimum of 2-3 years focused specifically on Azure networking.
- Deep expertise in Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Application Gateway, and Azure Private Link.
- Hands-on experience in migrating workloads across Azure regions or cloud platforms.
- Demonstrable experience with Azure VPN Gateway (Site-to-Site, Point-to-Site) and ExpressRoute.
- Strong understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, ACLS, WAF and network segmentation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Azure CLI for automation.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (BGP).
- Experience with network monitoring using Azure Network Watcher, logs, and diagnostics tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Azure certification, such as AZ-700: Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions, is highly desirable.

Additional Qualifications
- Prior experience with large-scale cloud migration projects.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (laC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Experience with network automation and orchestration.
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions and network optimization
