1. To perform the duties associated with your position, in helping Executive Chairman, Managing Director and Board of Directors managing the company towards the vision and mission of the Company.

2. To set a standard template / format of work performance reporting systems.
Summarize, revalue and reorganize the company’s assets and properties for better investment and future planning.

3. Research on business M&A, acquisition new business or investment

4. To research on means of fund raising/corporate exercises without significant dilution to equity.

5. To recommend and implement best practices to Corporate Governance, Risk Management, compliances, and corporate affair related to the company.

6. To review monthly management account, quarterly reporting, and announcements before release to Bursa Malaysia

7. To assist Chairman and MD to implement and monitor the business target and strategy focusing to grow revenue and profit.

8. To attend to any inquiries arising from audit and tax.

9. Critically analyze monthly financial health of investees, including performance, cash flows and financial position, compare with the KPIs and advise necessary course of actions.

10. Review and offer quality / feasible accounting and finance solutions to MD/Chairman
Co-operate in completing various reporting to board of directors.

11. Identified weaknesses business’ processes and gave suggestions for controls improvement

12. To assist the Chairman and MD, leading to corporate affair, corporate exercise such as right issue, private placement, ESOS, mergers & acquisitions and any other related exercise.

13. Review profit forecast, cash flow forecast and projections, Pro Forma Statement of Financial Position, Management discussion and analysis and circular to shareholders before announcement to public.

14. To participate in Audit Committee Meetings and provide professional input

3. Working experience in a PLC and ability to start immediately is an added advantage
Established in 2003 and subsequently listed on Bursa Malaysia in 2004, DPS Resources Berhad is an investment holding company based in Melaka. The principal activities are: Property development and construction, and Manufacturing and trading of furniture.

Our founder and executive chairman, Dato’ Sri Dr Sow Chin Chuan established the company in 1965 and has been the driving force since then.

For our property development division, our focus has always been in Melaka. To date, we have completed projects with more than RM50 million GDV, which include the Al-Azim Mosque, Melaka, one of the grandest mosques in the historical state and were officially opened by the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

For our furniture division, our integrated manufacturing plant in Melaka spans over 400,000 sq. ft and sits on a 15-acre land, with a total production capacity of more than 225,000 sets of furniture per annum. Our workforce is estimated to be approximately 600 people. We were one of the largest manufacturers of Wood-based products and Chair products in Malaysia. We serve major customers across the U.S. and Europe.
